A bilingual, Latino-owned tax office at 939 W Jefferson Blvd, Suite 109.
Quick Tax and Credit is a Latino-owned tax office at 939 W Jefferson Blvd, Suite 109, on Oak Cliff’s West Jefferson Boulevard corridor. We prepare federal tax returns for neighbors from Bishop Arts to Cockrell Hill, in English and in Spanish, and we are here all year.
Jefferson Boulevard is Oak Cliff’s historic main street, where families have shopped, banked and handled their paperwork for generations. Our staff is bilingual, so nobody has to bring a relative along to translate a tax form. You can ask your questions, read your return and sign it in the language you are most comfortable in.
What we do at the Oak Cliff office
Individual and family federal returns, including returns filed with an ITIN
Self-employed and 1099 returns, with Schedule C
Small-business returns and monthly bookkeeping
Past-year and amended returns
Help reading and answering IRS letters
Credit report review and dispute help, under a separate written agreement
We prepare and e-file returns (ERO). We are not enrolled agents, CPAs or attorneys, and we do not represent clients before the IRS.
You can book a time online or by phone, or stop by during office hours: Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. In tax season, from late January to mid-April, an appointment means less waiting, especially on Saturdays. If you walk in, bring your documents so we can start right away. The first consultation is free.
Nearby neighborhoods we serve
The office is a short drive from most of North Oak Cliff and the cities just beyond it:
Bishop Arts District: to the northeast, around Davis Street and Bishop Avenue
Kessler Park and Stevens Park: north of Davis Street
West Dallas: across I-30, along Singleton Boulevard and Westmoreland Road
Cockrell Hill: west on Jefferson Boulevard, past Hampton Road
Duncanville: south on US-67 or Cockrell Hill Road
Winnetka Heights, Elmwood and Wynnewood are closer still. Wherever you live in Texas, the federal return is the same; what changes is having someone you can sit across from and ask.
Before you choose any preparer in Oak Cliff
Whichever office you choose, ask for the preparer’s PTIN, make sure the refund goes to your own bank account, get a full copy of the return, and do not accept a fee based on the size of your refund. The IRS also advises choosing a preparer who will still be available after the filing deadline, in case questions come up. If your household income is modest, the IRS-sponsored VITA program prepares returns at no charge.
